Viva Las Vegas

Ah, Las Vegas. Even writing the city’s name gives me butterflies. If you’ve ever been, you know what I’m talking about. And if you haven’t… will consider this your sign.

A couple of week’s ago, I went on a girl’s trip to Vegas for my friend’s birthday. I know, I know. Why would we “waste” a trip to Vegas during 2020? When the city isn’t at its fullest potential?

Well, let me tell you — absolutely NOTHING was a waste. Honestly, I’ve been to Vegas a number of times and this was by far my best trip yet. So, if you’re looking to have the perfect girl’s trip to Las Vegas, this one is for you.

First, start with the vlog. Second, continue reading for the perfect Vegas itinerary.

As you can see, we killed this trip. For real. So, let’s walk through what I personally believe is the most ideal girl’s weekend.

Background: We went to Vegas in early December and our trip ran Thursday - Sunday, arriving Thursday afternoon and leaving Sunday morning. 3 days is my max in Vegas. Trust me on this — time doesn’t exist there. If you’re staying on the strip, it’s about a 10 minute Uber. Super easy. We stayed at the Bellagio, got a great price, and had the BEST experience.

Covid Regulations: Let’s talk about what Vegas is like right now. Yes, it is a little different. Make sure you do your own research before you go since regulations change so frequently, but when we went there were a few things that we experienced. 1) You have to have a reservation for any restaurant or bar and they cannot be parties bigger than 4. If you have a bigger party, you can call and they’ll seat you all in the same area — just 6 feet apart. 2) While clubs are open, you can only go if you are getting bottle service. We personally didn’t go to any this time around and I didn’t even miss it. 3) Casinos are open! Hand-washing stations are all around and you have to wear your mask the entire time. 4) I can’t speak about pool parties because we went out of season. Sorry!

Thursday

Afternoon: We settled into our hotel room and then walked around the strip. Actually, we walked directly to the Taco Bell Cantina and got a yard of alcoholic Baja Blast. 10/10. We also did a little shopping.

Dinner: Mayfair Supper Club. Oh my gosh. I cannot recommend a place enough. This place is IT. It’s in the Bellagio and it is just… jaw dropping. Essentially, you are transported back to the original glamorous eras of Las Vegas and old New York, all while looking at out the Bellagio fountains. There is a live band, performers, singers, and SO MUCH MORE. They play everything from old school Frank Sinatra to current day tunes. Plus, they are all majorly talented. The food and drinks are fabulous, but pretty pricey. We ended up ordering a few sides and sharing them as a meal — it was plenty. This is my #1 recommendation. Check out my tiktok of the restaurant to get a better sense.

Afterhours: We stayed at the Mayfair Supper Club until they kicked us out because the entertainment was THAT good,

Friday

Brunch: Primrose. Bottomless Mimosas!! I searched far and wide for one of the better bottomless mimosa deals on the strip and I think I found it. Plus, they do it everyday of the week. Primrose is a cutie little French inspired restaurant located in the Park MGM hotel and they have an all you can drink deal for $35. They did not kick us out after a certain time either — huge. The champagne was flowing, the brunch food was quite tasty (and reasonably priced for Vegas), and the atmosphere was adorable. See the action on tiktok,

Afternoon: We casino hopped and explored the strip. There are tons of passage ways that connect most of the hotels on the strip together, so we just ran around, had random drinks at random bars, threw down on the blackjack table here and there, hit up the Taco Bell Cantina (again), took photos, and eventually made our way back to the Bellagio in time to get ready for dinner.

Dinner: Sixth + Mill. In Vegas, every hotel has an extremely different vibe and we wanted to check out more than one. So, we decided to head over to the Venetian, which aims to make you feel like you’re in Venice, Italy. It succeeds. Sixth + Mill was a more casual pizza and pasta restaurant that is set in the coolest spot. Basically, the Venetian brings an open air Venice market to you… INSIDE. Perfect for any time of year. It’s hard to explain, so checkout my tiktok where I give you all the visuals. As for food, I had a Wild Boar Truffle pasta and it was insane.

Evening: If you just watched the tiktok, then you know… but get this. After dinner, we did a Gondola ride throughout the mall/hotel. It was simply adorable. Everything was so on point. From the employees outfits, the live music they played, to the photographers that would capture the moments. Sure, it was a little cheesy, but it’s probably the closet thing I’m getting to Italy in awhile. As for the rest of the evening? CASINO.

Saturday

Brunch: Sadelle’s. Also located in the Bellagio, Sadelle’s is one of the spots that you’re constantly seeing on instagram. It overlooks the Bellagio Conservatory and is worth it for the views alone. Quite boujee, yet still elegant. The food was tasty, the staff was friendly, and brunch was the perfect meal to experience it. Do it for the ‘gram.

Afternoon: If you’re in Vegas and happen to find yourself near the Bellagio, go check out the Conservatory. It’s wild. Since we went during December, it was all set up for the Christmas. Big time North Pole vibes and more incredible photo spots. The lines get crazy though, so plan accordingly. They change it up depending on the season too. To see brunch and the conservatory, take a look at my tiktok. For the rest of the afternoon, we relaxed by the pool. While it was chiller, the pools are heated and it was nice to decompress before our big evening.

Early Evening: Drinks at The Chandelier. Located in The Cosmopolitan hotel, The Chandelier is quite literally a three story chandelier lounge and bar. IT IS GORGEOUS. Like… take your breath away gorgeous. When you make a reservation, you can pick between three levels. The first is the most casual lounge underneath the chandelier in the casino, the second is in the middle of the chandelier (my favorite!!), and the third is at the top. Go to the third floor for photos and then have your drinks in the middle.

Dinner: Beauty & Essex. ALSO in the Cosmopolitan hotel (how convenient) is the most amazing restaurant, Beauty & Essex. While there is also a location in LA and New York, each city offers a totally different vibe. In Vegas, you enter through a Pawn Shop that has some super insane vintage pieces. One of the employees said the Vegas location focuses on the glitz and glam. When you enter the restaurant, it’s total Gatsby vibes. Think chandeliers made out of pearls. Get the Grilled Cheese and Bacon Tomato Soup Dumplings.

Evening: Nomad Bar. In the Nomad Hotel (super close to the Cosmopolitan) lies one of the top rated bars/lounges in all of Vegas — Nomad Bar. When we went, they had a live piano player and singer who was just divine. But the drinks… it’s really about the drinks. Honestly, just watch my tiktok of our entire Saturday Night and you’ll see what I’m saying. It involves Barbie Dolls…

Sunday

Till next time, Vegas. G2G
